Chocolate Chip Cookies


Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 cup packed golden brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 12 oz (1 package) Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. In large mixing bowl, mix butter until creamy. Mix in brown and granulated sugars.
  2. Add flour. Mix on low until incorporated.
  3. Mix in chocolate chips.
  4. Drop onto greased or sprayed baking sheets by rounded tablespoon about 1 1/2 inches apart.
  5. Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes until tops are set when lightly pressed with fingertips and color is golden.
  6. Let stand 2 minutes and remove to racks.(Cookies may be stored airtight for several days or frozen). Makes 5 dozen cookies.
