Apple Pie

Ingredients

Cake

• 2 cups sugar
• 1/2 cup oil
• 2 eggs
• 4 cups diced, peeled apples
• 2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon nutmeg
• 2 teaspoons baking soda

Cream Cheese Frosting

• 1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup confectioner's sugar
• 4 tablespoons butter or margarine
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

Cake

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Combine sugar, oil, and eggs. Add apples.
3. Sift together flour and other dry ingredients, and add to apple mixture
4. Pour into a greased 9" x 13" pan and bake for 50 min.

Frosting

1. Cream together all ingredients and spread on cooled cake.
